Eat Bulaga - Overview

Noontime television programs were never the same again when the innovative and freethinker “Eat Bulaga!” saw light on local boob tube last July 30, 1979 on RPN-Channel 9 situated on Broadcast City.

The famous comic troika of Tito, Vic and Joey pioneered in hosting the program together with the equally enjoyable Chiqui Hollman. Until now, Tito, Vic and Joey are still regulars of the show that eventually saw different sets of co-hosts as the years pass by.

Now, “Eat Bulaga!” is celebrating its 25th year on television on the Year of the Monkey. The sailing was very, very tough but it has managed to conquer all the challenges and competitions that placed them as the top and front bearing noontime show on air.

In fact, “Eat Bulaga!” is now the longest program on air in the history of local television. And it is still going strong and continues to generate excitement on its everyday episodes!

“Eat Bulaga!” since its inception then has produced remarkable segments and discovered stars like Aiza Seguerra, Jessa Zaragoza, Donna Cruz, Allan K, Danilo Barrios and now, the phenomenal Sex Bomb Girls.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Eat Bulaga! is the longest-running variety show on Philippine television. It also holds the Philippine record of all-time number of live TV episodes. Now nearing its 30th year on the noontime TV variety slot, the show is still going strong with the famous comic troika of Tito, Vic, and Joey, plus a bubbly and rambunctious bunch of hosts. Tinanghal ng E! Television na 3rd sexiest men in the world among the 25 male international celebrities ang Kapuso Star na si Dingdong Dantes, ayon sa Chika Minute portion ng GMA news 24 Oras nitong Biyernes.

Inihayag ni Brian Tottle, E! executive, ang ranking ni Dingdong sa Shrine Auditorium sa Los Angeles, USA, kamakailan kung saan nagtanghal sila ni Marian Rivera. Halos hindi maputol ang tilian at hiyawan nang ipakita na ang audio-video presentation para sa napiling 25 sexiest men.

Sa naturang video presentation na ipinalabas ng E!, unang ipinakita ang likurang bahagi ni Dingdong at nakasulat ang bansang Philippines. Dito ay ipinakita ang mga billboard, fashion at TV shows na ginawa ni Dingdong sa GMA Network.
